My second birthday!

Hello, everyone!

Today, my game turns 2 years old!

It's been a wonderful and fruitful 2 years of work on the game.

Actually, my game came out - December 14, 2019, but it wasn't until December 19 that I got my first $1 patron, he's the only one who supported me for the next 3 months non-stop and he's stayed with me to this day. He has been supporting me for exactly 24 months. And it is from him that I count down the birth of my game.

Not to be unsubstantiated here is a screenshot👇

I do not know if it's a man or a bot, but I just had to pay tribute to this patron (in addition to this text, I have a reference in the game to him).

If you're reading this, know that without you, the likelihood that I would have abandoned the project in the second or third month of development was 99.9% at the time. As I was feeling a huge amount of frustration for the first 5 days, due to looking at someone else's, quick success. But I'll be honest with myself. What I posted the first time around is an embarrassment that I still face to this day on various sites where I see an abandoned board with my game and old screenshots from it.

And now I'm slowly bringing you to my conclusion:

Behind every project is the smallest support. Just imagine how many projects have failed to improve in proportion to the support it receives. Hundreds of great ideas never saw the light of day. Your one dollar for a new developer could create a game that thousands of people would wait to update, and hundreds of thousands of people would watch its progress.

Of course, it's very much up to the developer himself, since not everyone wants to spend their time on a project that doesn't generate enough interest in people.

I'm not going to appeal to anyone or anything, I just want to say simple:

If you see even a tiny potential in the project, give it a chance, you do not necessarily support it financially, sometimes it's enough to like or comment.

For example:

Exactly one year and one month ago, I asked my patrons, "Why isn't my game popular?" And one guy - Kitty Black - took his time and wrote me some really huge comments with my mistakes and his comments. He wrote everything so clearly and in such detail that it could be printed out and hung in a frame over my bed. On top of that, we chatted with him personally and he shared his advice. And I also did a survey at the same time, and all the people who took part helped me a lot. It's created a huge momentum to improve and correct my mistakes. Thanks to all of this, you can see the project the way it is now.

In general - the worst reaction is a lack of reaction.

My game is a living example of how only 240 people out of seven billion on the planet can create an entire story.

Thank you to everyone who believed in me from the beginning, and to everyone who has only recently begun to believe in me! 😁

Finally, I've prepared a festive render for you in 4K resolution. Links to the two versions of the image can be found below in the " attachments".
